## Summary

The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham is currently in the planning stage of its procurement process for the "Housing Repairs 2027" contract. This opportunity falls under the industry categories of construction work and repair and maintenance services. The procurement process is steered by the local council of Hammersmith and Fulham, which is a public authority in sub-central government. Located in London, the preliminary market engagement (PME) notice seeks to gather insights from the market before finalising the procurement, service, and contract model. Interested suppliers are encouraged to complete the PME Questionnaire by 11 April 2025. The tender is aimed at securing a qualified supplier for essential housing repair and maintenance tasks, with the main contract period starting on 31 July 2027 and potentially extending up to 30 July 2033.

This tender represents an ideal opportunity for businesses experienced in housing repairs and maintenance to expand their operations. Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) are particularly encouraged to participate as there may be lots that adopt a framework approach. This could lead to significant business growth due to the contract's extensive scope and high value, which is estimated at £90 million, grossing up to £108 million. Businesses adept in emergency repairs, void refurbishments, drainage maintenance, and related services stand to benefit greatly from this opportunity. Engaging in the PME and expressing interest in the upcoming supplier presentations will be crucial steps for businesses looking to compete effectively for this contract.

## Notice

London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham Council (the "Council") is seeking a supplier who is suitably qualified and experienced in delivering housing repairs and responsive maintenance works, which includes emergency works, both out of hours and during the day; void refurbishment works; responsive repairs; disrepair and complex works; drainage planned preventative maintenance; roofing works; technical surveys; and damp and mould treatments. Component renewals will also be required where properties are identified for decent homes works. Whilst the Council does not anticipate establishing a framework for the bulk of the contract, one or more lots may establish a framework approach, to encourage participation by Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs).
