## Summary

The Scottish Sports Council, trading as sportscotland, is leading an initiative titled the "sportscotland Learning and Development Framework" focused on e-learning services within the education and training sector across Scotland. The procurement process employed an open procedure and has concluded with the award and contract stage. The framework, slated to commence in June 2025, encompasses seven key areas of learning and development, each been awarded to multiple suppliers across various lots, including areas such as communication skills and leadership development. The procurement spans a two-year period with potential extensions and is covered under the GPA, indicating international cooperation standards. The procurement activity took place in the UKM region, with an initial tender deadline extended to accommodate the Easter break, demonstrating flexibility in the schedule.

This tender provides substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in training and development. Suppliers were required to demonstrate their capability to deliver high-quality e-learning solutions across multiple subject matters. Small and medium-sized enterprises have been actively involved, reflecting competitive participation. Businesses with expertise in driving business success in sport, enhancing communication skills, and leadership development are well-suited for these opportunities. Participation in this framework allows companies to expand their footprint within the public sector and collaborate with sportscotland, a key stakeholder in the national sports agenda, thus offering strategic growth avenues for businesses engaged in the education and training industry.
