## Summary

NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board initiated a public procurement process under the open procedure for a project titled 'Provision of Hypertension and Lipids Optimisation Project', with a focus on health services. This project, located in Norwich, United Kingdom, was meant to address cardiovascular disease prevention using a Population Health Management approach. The procurement process was initially active, with an intended tender period closing on 11th April 2025, with submissions expected electronically or in writing. However, a decision was made on 24th November 2025 to abandon this procurement process due to changes in the Commissioners' requirements, as they plan to reintroduce a revised service offering to the market.

This tender presented significant opportunities for businesses specialising in health services, particularly those with expertise in hypertension and lipid management. It was well-suited for organisations capable of providing innovative clinical prescribers to collaborate with the Integrated Care Board's cardiovascular teams. The project highlighted the need for personalised care systems that support pharmacological and social prescribing. Though this specific procurement process was cancelled, similar future tenders could offer substantial growth potential for companies in the medical and community health sectors, especially those interested in public health initiatives that improve population health outcomes and reduce long-term healthcare costs.
