## Summary

The Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust has completed the award stage of a procurement process titled "WAS-FTS-58858 - Clinical Model Transformation Evaluation." This process involved a comprehensive evaluation of their Clinical Model Transformation programme, with an award made to Edge Hill University for the contract. The procurement was executed using an open procedure, reflecting a value of approximately £549,478, and is classified under business services. Located in Cwmbran, United Kingdom, the buyer targeted completion of the vendor evaluation by 15 August 2025, with contracts expected to start from 3 September 2025 and originally scheduled to end on 2 September 2028. However, there remains an option to extend the contract for an additional year, subject to performance reviews.

This procurement presents substantial opportunities for firms specialising in consultancy, evaluation, and business services within the healthcare industry. Companies with experience in clinical evaluation, particularly in unscheduled care or comparable fields, are well-suited to engage in this type of project as the continuation or similar future opportunities might arise. With substantial tender opportunities like this, businesses can leverage their expertise in evaluation methodologies to expand their portfolio and forge valuable partnerships with major institutions like the Welsh Ambulance Services. The open nature of the procedure indicates a competitive and fair opportunity for qualifying businesses to contribute to significant healthcare initiatives.
