As part of a wider initiative to research and co-produce opportunities to increase the number of people accessing self-directed support via a direct payment, we have identified that Payroll and Managed Account Services will support people to manage the responsibilities that come with a Direct payment better. Therefore our aim is to increase the accessibility and sustainability of Direct Payments by providing access to effective support, whilst maintaining an individual's choice when opting for a direct payment. In particular, those that need support in managing the additional financial responsibilities. This could be a payroll support service or through the use of a managed account We wish to engage with the market to understand what providers would offer Kent in regard to these two services.
