Lot 1

The primary aims of the project are to recruit, train and support volunteers with lived and living experience, to provide outreach and in reach to people who use substances and are at risk of experiencing rough sleeping in Medway. Through the outreach and in reach, the focus will be to increase engagement with substance treatment and recovery services, increase and support sustained substance use treatment and recovery and to support transition from rough sleeping to supported accommodation. The Intention is to Award the contract to the existing provider, following Direct Award C process. Dates service to be provided - 01/04/2025 to 31/03/2026 - with 3 x 12 month extension options. Lifetime Value of the contract - PS491,241.48.

Options: There are 3 x 12 month extension options.

### Procurement Information

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The Awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulation 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulation 2015 do not apply to this award. The Standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representation by providers must be made to decision makers by 31st March 2025. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.
