## Summary

The London Borough of Haringey, part of the larger London Boroughs’ Legal Alliance (LBLA), is leading a procurement process for a Legal Services Framework titled "LBLA Legal Services Framework". This aims to appoint multiple legal advisers to enhance service delivery, achieve value for money, and manage outsourced legal matters efficiently. The procurement engages an open procedure, covering legal services across several sectors including regeneration, housing management, property and planning, and employment. This initiative involves various London boroughs and a selection of local authorities in Greater London and South-East England. The procurement stage is complete, with contracts being signed as of 5 January 2026. The framework agreement’s initial period runs from 8 January 2026 to 7 January 2029, with a possibility of extension for up to twelve more months.

For businesses in the legal sector looking to expand, this framework presents significant opportunities for growth, as it covers a substantial region including Greater London and South-East England. The framework is ideal for well-established legal firms capable of offering a comprehensive range of services, as well as those specialising in niche legal areas like regeneration or housing management. Participation fees are involved, equating to 4% of the award amount, encouraging competitive bids that offer quality service. Large firms such as Anthony Collins Solicitors, Ashfords LLP, and Bevan Brittan LLP are already engaged, indicating the rigorous standards expected. Successful tenderers will have access to serve multiple authorities, reflecting their diverse expertise and capacity for strategic partnerships and long-term engagements.
