## Summary

The Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), based in London, has completed its procurement process for the Minerva Programme FM Asset Management & Property Technology continued support. This contract falls under the services category, specifically technical analysis and consultancy services. The key objectives include the development of FM Asset Management and supporting property technology. Following the tender stage, the contract has been awarded as of 6th March 2025 to Best Practice Group plc for a value of £875,000. The award was made under a limited procurement method without prior publication due to the conditions stated in the directive, with the award procedure focusing solely on price criteria.

This contract offers substantial opportunities for businesses excelling in technical analysis, consultancy services, asset management, and property technology. Companies specialising in these areas, particularly those with expertise in developing asset management strategies, acquiring ISO 55001 accreditation, and implementing property technology standards, would be well-suited to compete for future similar procurements. Engaging with high-level strategic support projects such as this can significantly enhance a company's portfolio and open the door to further government contracts.
