## Summary

Wiltshire Council is overseeing a significant procurement process titled "WO2151 Replacement of Temporary Classrooms at Frogwell, Hullavington and Minety Primary Schools". This project targets the education sector, focusing on the design and construction of new classrooms and refurbishments in three primary schools across the Wiltshire region, namely Frogwell Primary School in Chippenham, Hullavington Primary School in Chippenham, and Minety Primary School in Malmesbury. The procurement is structured as a two-stage procedure, including a competitive flexible approach for selecting contractors. Key stages and dates for this project include the end of RIBA Stages 1 to 4 set for March 2026, followed by construction starting in August 2026, with completion planned by November 2027. The process commenced with the planning stage, evolving through tendering and concluding with the award stage, where STEPNELL LIMITED has been identified as the supplier.

This tender offers substantial opportunities for growth, particularly for businesses related to construction, architectural design, and refurbishment within the educational sector. The procurement process is selective, aiming to appoint a main contractor capable of delivering on a full design and build basis. Businesses suited for this opportunity may include lar}ge-scale construction firms and architectural teams specialising in educational facilities, with the capability to collaborate effectively with local government bodies and educational institutions. The forecast cost of the project is estimated at £5.7 million including VAT, giving room for substantial project development and the potential for collaboration with key stakeholders, thus offering a promising landscape for business expansion and increased industry visibility.
