## Summary

The London Borough of Southwark is currently in the planning stage of a procurement process for providing training on Health and Health Inequalities within the context of Southwark. The procurement aims to develop self-directed learning modules that will be accessible via the Council's e-learning platform, MyLearningSource. The subject training will be co-designed by the provider along with Council staff and local residents, and is intended for Council employees and selected partners, including Community Researchers. A pre-market engagement event is scheduled for 10th April 2025, highlighting opportunities for feedback and collaboration. The entire training programme is scheduled to run from 1st May 2025 to 30th December 2025. The overarching category of this procurement falls within "Education and training services" (CPV: 80000000), and it applies to organisations that have expertise in these areas.

This tender presents an excellent opportunity for businesses specializing in educational and training services, particularly those with experience or the capability to develop training concerning health and social issues. It is especially suited for firms that can integrate interactive elements such as animations, quizzes, and polls into their training modules. The project encourages innovative approaches and fosters partnerships between the local council, service providers, and the community, providing a platform for showcasing versatile training solutions. Businesses can leverage this tender to expand their repertoire of clients and demonstrate their capacity to address significant public health training needs, potentially opening doors to further collaborations within the public sector.
