## Summary

The NHS Business Services Authority has successfully completed the awarding process for the "Nursery Milk Reimbursement Unit (NMRU) 2025," a procurement under the industry category of administrative services for business operations. This call-off contract was awarded following a competitive process under the Crown Commercial Services Funds Administration & Disbursement Services Dynamic Purchasing System. The procurement method adopted was a selective restricted procedure, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The service is located in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, aiming to process a substantial number of claims yearly from day-care facilities across England and Wales. The award status is active as of 1st December 2025. Notably, the tender competition offered three bids, all of which were electronic, with the successful award going to Opia Limited, a large-scale organisation based in London.

The Nursery Milk Reimbursement scheme presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in administrative, financial, and software services. Companies equipped with expertise in call centre operations, administration software packages, and financial information systems stand to benefit greatly from participation. Additionally, the project encompasses crucial roles in providing support services to the government and managing financial reimbursements, making it ideal for firms experienced in management-related services and loan brokerage services. The size and scope of the contract, with annual reimbursements between £50 million and £60 million, underline the profitable potential for qualified service providers eager to grow their portfolios in public sector collaborations, particularly those capable of high-volume transaction processing and compliance with the Procurement Act 2023.
