## Summary

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Lancashire is initiating a tender process for the "Reactive Repairs & Planned Minor Works Framework," focusing on the procurement of construction-related services across various disciplines such as building and joinery, plumbing, roofing, electrical work, and drainage. This procurement falls under the industry category of "works" and is located in Preston, United Kingdom. The current procurement stage is in the planning phase with significant engagement activities scheduled, including a "Meet the Buyer" event on 25 June 2025. The framework agreement will have an estimated spend of £7 to £8 million over four years, with the existing framework expiring on 30 September 2026 and the new one starting on 1 October 2026. Interested suppliers must register by 14 June 2025 to attend the event sessions and gain insights into the application and contract management expectations.

This procurement presents substantial opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises, particularly those based in Lancashire and involved in the construction and building maintenance sectors. Companies with expertise in building materials, plumbing, electrical installations, and related services are well-suited to compete for inclusion in the framework. By participating, businesses can grow their network within the public sector, enhance their portfolio with prestigious projects for the Lancashire Constabulary, and contribute to delivering social value to the local community. Such engagement can foster business growth through long-term contracts and collaboration with other local entities partaking in the procurement process. Access to procurement professionals can further aid businesses in navigating requirements to leverage their potential in securing public sector projects.
