## Summary

The Victoria and Albert Museum has concluded the procurement process for its Soft Facilities Management (FM) services across its estate in London and the South East. The procurement falls under the 'services' category and is a part of public central government authority procurement. The tender, titled "V&A - Soft FM," has reached the award stage as of 20 March 2026. Total Support Services Limited is the successful supplier for this contract, which will span from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2031, with a possible extension to 2033. The process adopted a competitive flexible procedure and involved Mortice Consulting Limited for documentation drafting and evaluation tasks.

This procurement provides significant opportunities for growth in the facilities management industry, inviting large-scale businesses capable of delivering a wide array of services including cleaning, waste management, pest control, and event support. Given the competitive nature and the substantial contract value exceeding £30 million, businesses with capabilities in Soft FM services are suitably poised to expand their portfolio and deepen their engagement in the governmental sector. While the procurement process was not exclusive to SMEs, the structure was designed to be accessible to a broad range of suppliers, enabling diverse business participation and fostering sector-wide development and innovation.
