## Summary

The Department of Health & Social Care (DHSC) is implementing a market engagement process titled "Value Based Procurement - Industry Presentation". This tender falls under the medical equipment industry category and is focused on involving procurement professionals and medtech suppliers to enhance understanding of the Value Based Procurement (VBP) policy within the NHS. The engagement will take place through two webinars on the 8th and 9th of July 2026. The procurement is currently in its planning stage, indicating the beginning of the tender process aimed at fostering collaboration and information sharing prior to any formal procurement activities. The document highlights the department's central government status and includes a contact point in London, UK.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses within the medtech sector, particularly SMEs and Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprises (VCSEs), to collaborate with the NHS. By participating, companies can gain insights into the upcoming VBP policy and network with key stakeholders, fostering potential partnerships and increasing visibility within the public procurement space. This invitation primarily suits suppliers experienced in providing medical equipment who are eager to expand their engagement within the central government sector. By participating in these sessions, suppliers can better position themselves for future tenders in a closely related domain.
