## Summary

The Authority, APUC Limited, is inviting tenders for the provision of PPE, Workwear, and Sportswear to higher education (HE) and further education (FE) institutions across Scotland, England, and Wales. This procurement, with an estimated annual value of GBP 10,380,000 for the Scottish entities and GBP 32,500,000 for entities in England and Wales, is at the tender stage. Interested contractors are required to submit their responses by 13 May 2025. The procurement falls under the category of "Occupational clothing, special workwear, and accessories" and aims to serve various institutions detailed in Appendix E - List of Institutions. The contract is set to last for an initial period of 720 days, with the possibility of two 24-month extensions, pending satisfactory performance and continued institutional requirements.

This tender offers significant business growth opportunities, especially for suppliers in the clothing, workwear, and personal protective equipment (PPE) industries. Businesses with a robust supply chain that align with social, ethical, and environmental compliance are particularly well-suited to compete. The contract also includes community benefits provisions, like training opportunities and local community investment, enhancing corporate social responsibility (CSR) potential for the successful bidders.
