## Summary

The London Borough of Redbridge has awarded a contract for the "Provision of Shared Lives Service for Adults" to THE GRACE EYRE FOUNDATION. The procurement was conducted using an open procedure, with the main procurement category being services, specifically under 'Social work and related services'. This initiative is focused on equipping adults who need long-term support by matching them with approved carers, offering a home-sharing model. The contract begins on 1st February 2026 and is initially set to conclude on 31st January 2027, with potential extensions available until 2031. Key dates include a scheduled signature on 30th December 2025, and the standstill period ending on 18th December 2025. The services will be rendered in Ilford, ensuring comprehensive support is provided year-round.

This procurement presents vital business growth opportunities for organisations specialising in social care services. Businesses experienced in managing care services, especially those capable of recruiting and training carers, would be perfectly suited to this tender. The contract valued at up to £660,000 over five years, allows for significant revenue potential for businesses that demonstrate quality, price efficiency, and social value in their proposals. Additionally, businesses registered as a Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) or those prioritising social impacts, such as providing sustainable local employment, may find this contract especially fitting due to its community-centred requirements.
