## Summary

The public procurement process managed by NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board focuses on the provision of community urology services for the period from 2025 to 2029. This service, titled "BNSSG 2025 - 2029 - GP Care Community Urology," falls under the category of urologist services and aims to deliver rapid access and diagnostic solutions in non-hospital settings across six GP localities. The procurement, conducted under a Provider Selection Regime (PSR), involved a direct award process and resulted in a contract awarded to GP Care UK Limited for a total value of £4,950,460. The procurement stage as of 30th April 2025 is the contract award, which commenced on 1st April 2025 and will conclude on 31st March 2029. The location entails regions within Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire, enhancing the healthcare pathway from primary through to secondary care.

This tender presents significant business growth opportunities for providers specialising in healthcare services, particularly those with the capacity to deliver integrated and innovative urology services in community settings. The contract, awarded through a limited procurement method as stipulated by the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, highlights the emphasis on quality, innovation, and social value. Businesses capable of ensuring seamless integration with existing healthcare services and who can offer value-efficient solutions in line with regulatory stipulations would find this opportunity promising. The structured integration between primary, community, and secondary care providers underscores the potential for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the healthcare sector to leverage their expertise in delivering focused, community-based health solutions.
