When complete, Ulster Canal Restoration Phase 3 will connect the navigations of the previously constructed phases of the Ulster Canal Restoration and provide a navigable link from the Erne Navigation via the restored Ulster Canal to Clones. This competition is for the procurement of a Consultancy Team in respect of Phases 3.1 and 3.2 only, which extends from Castle Saunderson to Gortnacarrow. ### Lot Information Lot 1 The overall project is for the detailed design, tender and project management of the construction of Phases 3.1 and 3.2 as per the planning permission. The main elements of the project are to: (a) Develop detailed design of all works, seek all necessary statutory approvals (e.g. AIP, TAS for roads and bridges). (b) Develop the design for the purposes of tendering the construction of the project using the NEC form of contract for works designed by the Client. (c) Commission any additional services necessary to detail the design. Additional information: It is intended that the contract to be awarded will be with a single economic operator. It is anticipated that the Consultancy Team will require a wide range of technical and professional skills and industry knowledge, and will bring market leading experience and expertise, and have a proven track record with projects similar in nature, size, scale and complexity to the project.
