## Summary

The procurement process for the "Imperial Renal Dialysis - Managed Service Agreement" is currently in the planning stage, led by the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, located in London. The industry category is services, particularly hospital dialysis services, with a contract value estimated up to £30 million GBP. This initiative focuses on providing haemodialysis services to approximately 1,600 patients annually across nine satellite units, aiming to address operational challenges due to expiring leases and suboptimal environments. The process includes virtual supplier engagement sessions, scheduled for completion by 1st December 2025, as part of the strategy development. Procurement and planning for this high-value tender involve the Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust, facilitated by the North West London Procurement Services.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses that specialise in hospital and healthcare services, particularly those capable of managing complex service agreements over extended periods. As several units require improvements due to expiring leases, potential contractors who offer innovative operational solutions and possess proven capabilities in managing and maintaining healthcare facilities are well-suited to compete. The inclusion of requirements for service sustainability and the potential for renewal of contracts until 2034 further appeals to businesses aiming to secure long-term engagements. Suppliers can grow their business by integrating cutting-edge services into the Trust's renal dialysis operations, contributing to improved healthcare delivery across the region.

## Notice

The ICHT Renal Service provides haemodialysis to around 1,600 patients annually. The service is delivered through nine satellite dialysis units, 7 within Acute Trust Hospital sites and two in community-based centres. A recent review conducted in 2024/25 demonstrates The units are geographically well-placed based on patient cohort analysis. All units are directly managed by the Trust, employing clinical and support staff and overseeing the entire clinical pathway. Seven of the nine units are rented from other organizations, which provide maintenance services. Some leases are nearing their end, and several units operate in suboptimal environments that need addressing within the next 1-3 years. Further information attached separately
