## Notice

UKEF has a requirement to procure services of external legal counsel to advise it in relation to the financial support it provides for transactions in the aerospace sector. In order to facilitate this, UKEF is looking to reprocure the General Aerospace Legal Panel Framework Contract, which is due to expire on 26th May 2026. The Competitive Flexible procedure has now been completed and UKEF is looking to award the contract to the successful suppliers following the standstill period.

### Planning Information

We would like to notify you of a potential upcoming requirement, and by doing so we are keen to understand where the market stands in terms of its provision. 
This Request for Information (RFI) seeks information relating to the establishing of a framework for a General Aerospace Legal Panel. This framework will consist of between 4 and 6 suppliers who are able to provide specialist legal advice and services in connection with support provided by UKEF in respect of the export of aircraft, aircraft engines and other aerospace assets and services. 
This includes but is not limited to the following areas in respect of these aerospace workstreams: financing aerospace assets, services and projects, Export Credit Agency (ECA) financing, international law and jurisdictional advice and the Authority's statutory framework. 
Responses are invited to support UKEF in building their specification and contract documentation.
To obtain the full RFI document including timelines and how to respond please email commercial@ukexportfinance.gov.uk with the reference 'GALP RFI' by no later than 29 Jul 25.
To note, the engagement deadline of 01 Aug 25 is for completed RFIs to be returned UKEF by email to commercial@ukexportfinance.gov.uk with the reference 'GALP RFI Response'
UKEF reserve the right not to proceed with this procurement and nothing in this RFI shall constitute a commitment to instigating a formal procurement process. 
No information provided by a Potential Provider in response to this RFI will be carried forward, used or acknowledged in any way for the purpose of evaluating the Potential Provider, in any subsequent formal procurement process that may take place.
