Businesses with frameworks in place or experience with similar government contracts, especially small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), stand to benefit significantly. The contracts will adhere to a framework agreement, offering a reliable avenue for businesses to establish their presence in public procurement markets within the Greater Manchester region, potentially enabling growth through secured governmental partnerships and expanded client bases. The opportunity also facilitates engagement in a critical services area, enhancing business capabilities in specialised forensic services.

## Notice

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) is intending to procure a contract for Outsourcing of Digital Forensics Analysis (A1167). The contract covers the outsourcing of the forensic analysis of digital devices and also cell site analysis. The current contracts (a number of suppliers are used) are call off contracts using a framework managed by the National Crime Agency (NCA). It is anticipated that the NCA will retender this framework with GMP as a named organisation able to call-off from the awarded framework. It is currently expected that GMP will complete call-off contracts in accordance with the framework guidance. It should be noted that any tender/business opportunities for Greater Manchester Police are advertised on our 'Bluelight' Emergency Services eTendering system, Sell2Bluelight, which is also used by other Bluelight organisations. Suppliers should not assume that this will be the platform for any tender conducted by NCA. For general information, a new guidance document for Suppliers using Sell2Bluelight (In-Tend) has been created and is available via the below link. This guide will help with registration, how to view and submit tenders, and deal with correspondence. https://bluelightcommercial.police.uk/media/2284/sell2bluelight-in-tend-full-supplier-guide.pdf Whilst the Contracting Authority is the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, any call-off contracts will be managed by the Greater Manchester Police. Should you require any further information on this contract please email procurement@gmp.police.uk and include A1167 Outsourcing of Digital Forensics Analysis in the header.
