Options: The Contract is a 1-year Fixed Price Contract (except in respect of Value Added Tax) with the option for the Council to extend for 4 periods of 12 months each.

Renewal: The Contract is a 1-year Fixed Price Contract (except in respect of Value Added Tax) with the option for the Council to extend for 4 periods of 12 months each, subject to an agreed adjustment of the Contract rates in accordance with the terms of the Contract and a satisfactory performance. For the avoidance of doubt, the Contractor acknowledges that all persons retained by it to provide the specified requirements under this Agreement are not employees of the Council and the Contractor will therefore be solely responsible for any fluctuations in the minimum wage and Living Wage. Requests for a price increase amendment can only be submitted utilising the most recent CPI at the time of request. However, the Council reserves the right to accept a higher increase, should the documentary evidence supplied by the Contractor demonstrate that the increase requested is justifiable. The Council's decision in regard to this will be final. A maximum of 1 request for a price increase may be submitted for consideration during any rolling 12-month period following the fixed price period.
