## Summary

```html
The procurement process initiated by Nuclear Restoration Services Ltd focuses on the maintenance of liquid effluent samplers at Oldbury, Dungeness A, Hinkley Point A, and Wylfa sites. As a public authority under the sub-central government classification, the buyer chose a direct award procurement method due to the technical capabilities and exclusivity of the equipment manufacturer. The procurement was necessary to meet quality assurance standards with the Environment Agency. Currently, in the award stage, the contract is scheduled to commence on 2nd May 2025 and conclude on 1st April 2028, with an overall value exceeding £267,000. The procurement falls under the services category, with the vital milestone of signature slated for the end of April 2025.
This tender offers substantial business growth opportunities, especially for businesses in the repair and maintenance services industry that can provide specialised technical support and ensure adherence to environmental regulations. Given the requirement for specific technical expertise and compliance capabilities, businesses that have previously worked in the nuclear sector or possess experience with environmental regulation standards stand to benefit significantly. Partnering with such niche sectors can enhance a company's profile and expand its service portfolio in high-demand areas.
### Procurement Information
NSG are the manufacturers of the equipment, carry the passwords for the programmable logic controller and have the specialist equipment to carry out the service and are the only supplier who can carry out these actions. To meet our quality assurance levels with the Environment Agency we must prove that our equipment is maintained and calibrated to comply with our permit to discharge. The equipment manufacturer is currently the only company that can achieve this.
