## Notice

In April 2015, the MOD signed a thirteen year contract with Leidos Europe Ltd to provide the procurement and inventory management of commodity items (as well as the storage and distribution services), that were historically provided in-house by the Logistic Commodities and Services Operating Centre. Leidos, working with the MOD, will transform the way these services are delivered to ensure requirements continue to be met whilst providing best value for money for the department. The organisation delivering these services is known as Team Leidos. Team Leidos would like to make markets aware that we are intending to consider approaches that could fulfill our Supply of Patient Warming Blankets requirements. It is the aim of this Preliminary Market Engagement Notice (PMEN) to encourage companies, suppliers, or manufacturers to make us aware and provide as much information as they are comfortable with, to help decide the future strategy for the range. Team Leidos wishes to generate interest, information and views with other companies to understand the current market innovation and gain useful intelligence that can help our requirement. ### Planning Information

This requirement was previously advertised and issued under a Prior Information Notices (ref: FTS ref: 2024/S 000-024019 dated 31/07/24), and was for the Supply of Survival Blankets. Please note that this requirement has been renamed as Supply of Patient Warming Blankets, since.
Previous market engagement was held too during an initial period of September to October 2024, and since up to early February 2025. All of which were under PCR2015 regulations.
The requirement has undergone extensive discussions with the MoD Customer, since, which have then gone beyond the new PA2023 regulations commencement date of 24th February 2025. As Team Leidos has further market engagemet to conduct and has not yet issued a tender, Team Leidos is re-issuing a new Preliminary Market Engagement Notice, here, to continue with the full new governance process.
