## Summary

The procurement process managed by the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) involves the provision of GECO Mission Support System Licences specifically for Hawk TMk1 aircraft. This contract falls under the industry-specific software package category, focusing on goods. It is executed through a limited procurement method, bypassing a prior call for competition due to the protection of exclusive rights. This award process, part of the award stage, was initiated without prior publication in line with the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011. The contract specifies a completion date for the delivery of the software by 1st July 2026, and the total contract value is capped at £2 million. The contract was signed on 1st May 2025, and execution will be carried out in the UK.

This tender could serve as a growth opportunity primarily for businesses involved in the development and provision of proprietary military technology software, particularly those that align with defence contracts. As Inzpire Limited holds the intellectual property rights for the GECO software, the tender is particularly favourable to companies that maintain exclusive rights to such specialised products. SMEs with similar proprietary offerings or those capable of subcontracting with Inzpire Limited might find relevant business opportunities, ensuring growth through engagement within the defence sector.
