Lot 1

NHS Cheshire and Merseyside ICB have approved a modification to a contract that was awarded under the Public Contract Regulations 2015. The existing contract to deliver Age Related Macular Degeneration Services across Cheshire East, Cheshire West and NHS Derby & Derbyshire ICB was placed on 1st April 2023 and expired on 31st March 2025. This modification takes up the Contractual Option to Extend within the original contract and adds an additional one year to the contract term. As a result the modified expiry date is 31st March 2026. The original contract was a zero based contract, however, the indicative annual spend of PS2,545,524 has been included here.

### Procurement Information

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) contract modification notice, under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. On the 19th November 2024 the Cheshire & Merseyside Finance, Investments and Resource Committee approved this decision and one committee member noted a Conflict of Interest which was managed through the organisation's Conflict of Interest process.
