## Summary

Leicester City Council is in the planning stage to procure new contracts for Hard Facilities Management functions, including repairs, maintenance, and planned preventative maintenance across their estate and traded services. The process entails a pre-market engagement exercise to inform potential bidders about the upcoming opportunities in the industry category of building installation work and repair and maintenance services. This procurement is for various properties located in Leicester, United Kingdom, and involves multiple lots with an estimated gross contract value of approximately £59,880,000, starting in February 2026. The procurement is positioned within the public authority sector of sub-central government, with a future notice planned for 1 October 2025.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses involved in construction work, focusing on building maintenance and installations. Companies specialising in general maintenance, electrical, mechanical, roofing, and drainage work would find this framework particularly advantageous. With specific attention to SMEs and VCSE organisations, this procurement encourages diverse participation and growth, providing comprehensive support through the Central Digital Platform for suppliers to access guidance, register, and tender for opportunities. Suitable firms capable of delivering high-quality facilities management services will benefit from long-term partnerships and the potential for contract renewals, leveraging this extensive framework to expand their business portfolio.
