## Notice

AWARDED SBC are currently seeking a suitable contractor for the GARAGE PORTFOLIO-REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE TERM CONTRACT Stevenage Borough Council "the Council" is responsible for routine maintenance of circa 6500 garage assets across the borough with an average of 630 repairs reported per year and circa 500 garages becoming void. The scope of work is to include Repairs, Maintenance and Planned Works for the Councils 6500 garages. The overall value of the contract is estimated at PS2.5m with the annual values broken down as follows: - Repairs PS350k pa - Planned works PS150k pa There is potentially an additional PS1.5m of planned works that could be added to the contract over the duration depending on budget availability. For example: - Replacement of cementitious roofs with asbestos content - Replacement of garage doors

### Planning Information

The scope of the engagement will be a webinar approach via the MS TEAMs platform. Potential bidders will be invited to accept an invitation to attend via the SBC Intend portal. The time and date of the engagement session is 22/5/2025 at 1.30pm until 3.00pm. Officers from SBC along with procurement consultants will present a series of slides to attendees that sets out information to aid attendees in their decision as to whether the contract is of interest. The objective of the engagement is to listen to what the market is saying and as far is possible and practicable to incorporate the feedback into the contract. The aim of the engagement session is to convey a message to attendees that this contract will be a partnering approach and that the success of the contract will be how the collective deliver continuous improvement throughout.
