## Summary

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead (RBWM) has completed the procurement for a domestic abuse support service under an open procedure, awarding the contract to THE DASH CHARITY. This service addresses social work and related services, aligning with community needs in response to the Domestic Abuse Act 2021. The contract runs from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2029, with a potential one-year extension at the buyer's discretion. Located in Maidenhead, RBWM, within the UKJ11 region, conducted the award phase on 26 March 2026. The service is a light-touch regime, emphasizing high-quality, trauma-informed support for adults and children affected by domestic abuse in the area.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for organisations involved in social services and those with expertise in trauma-informed care to contribute toward RBWM's domestic abuse strategy. The open procurement method invites larger enterprises, particularly those with voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSE) credentials like THE DASH CHARITY, to compete in such tenders. The tender encourages collaborative work with statutory and voluntary agencies, offering substantial room for growth and involvement in local service delivery. Potential bidders looking to future similar opportunities can expect a focus on innovation, sustainability, and partnership in the delivery of vital community services.
