## Summary

The buying organisation, NEUPC Ltd, has initiated a procurement process titled "Sustainable Furniture Solutions (PA23)" within the planning stage. This initiative is centred on the supply and installation of various types of furniture, primarily for office environments, and includes design and space planning, with considerations for the circular economy. The procurement will be open to several university purchasing consortiums in the UK. Key dates involve preliminary market engagement (PME) occurring between 12 May 2025 and 13 June 2025. Suppliers are advised to register through the Central Digital Platform, as late registrations cannot extend submission deadlines. The procurement value is anticipated to gross around £216 million, with its contract period starting from 14 February 2026 and running until 28 February 2030.

This tender offers substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in furniture manufacturing, design, and sustainable practices, as it encompasses a wide range of furniture types and related services valued at £216 million. Businesses with expertise in office, modular, and sustainable furniture solutions, as well as those capable of providing comprehensive repair and maintenance services, would benefit from competing for this framework. Engaging in this procurement can enhance market presence and offer entry into extensive frameworks, positioning companies to grow their involvement in furnishing university and government sectors across the UK.

## Notice

The main scope of the framework will cover supply and installation of furniture, historically the majority of the spend has been furniture for office-style spaces. Also incorporated into the scope will be additional specialisms such as design, space planning etc. Circular economy considerations, repair, re-use and recycling will be incorporated into the Lots and specifications. The framework will be available to NEUPC, APUC, CPC, HEPCW, LUPC, NWUPC, SUPC and TUCO members For more information about this opportunity, please visit the Delta eSourcing portal at: https://neupc.delta-esourcing.com/tenders/UK-title/3C499X8X48 To respond to this opportunity, please click here: https://neupc.delta-esourcing.com/respond/3C499X8X48

### Planning Information

NEUPC Ltd wish to conduct preliminary market engagement (PME) with relevant and technically capable suppliers to assist the development of our procurement activity and preparing tender documents. Tender documents are not yet available.
Suppliers are advised to register and complete the relevant stages on the Central Digital Platform (CDP) if they wish to participate in and bid for this framework.
Suppliers should be aware that CDP registration could be a prolonged process. Tender submission deadlines cannot be extended to allow for late supplier registrations to the CDP.
How to register on the CDP can be found using the following link: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/procurement-act-2023-short-guides/suppliers-how-to-register-your-organisation-and-first-administrator-on-find-a-tender-in-three-easy-steps-html
PME will take place between 12/05/2025 and 13/06/2025. To participate, please email s.hogg@neupc.ac.uk
It is anticipated that suppliers taking part in the PME will not be put at an unfair advantage when bidding for this framework. For the avoidance of doubt, those not participating in the PME will still be able to tender for the framework and it will not mean they are excluded from tendering.
A record of the information shared and received as part of the PME will be kept ensuring that the information gathered is considered in the procurement. An anonymised summary of the information/outcomes will also be shared with other parties and used to help ensure that participating suppliers are not unfairly advantaged.
Suppliers participating in this PME are not guaranteed to receive either an Invitation to Tender (if Invitations to Tender are issued), or a place on any framework agreement which may be awarded following an Invitation to Tender.
