## Summary

The University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is in the planning stage of a procurement process for the supply of dose-banded chemotherapy products. The healthcare provider is seeking to establish a framework agreement for aseptically prepared, batch-manufactured anti-cancer drugs in ready-to-administer forms. The procurement process involves a closed/open framework, as detailed in the pre-market engagement meetings scheduled for 12th and 19th June 2025. Interested suppliers will be able to partake in discussions related to key specifications, product lists, bidding processes, and the proposed award criteria. This initiative falls under the pharmaceutical products industry category and is located in Derby, United Kingdom, with a future notice anticipated on 22nd September 2025. The total estimated contract value is £18,000,000.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors to expand their operations by providing crucial medication to a leading NHS Trust. Companies with experience in manufacturing and supplying chemotherapy drugs, particularly those familiar with the National Dose Banded Chemotherapy Standards, would be well-suited to compete for this contract. Additionally, businesses benefit from the possibility of framework agreements, which can secure long-term partnerships and steady demand streams, potentially up to 2030 inclusive of renewals. Engaging in the pre-market meetings could provide valuable insights into the procurement expectations and requirements, thus favourably positioning participants for the tendering phase.
