## Notice

Midland Heart require a solution to our current Back Up and Disaster Recovery provisions. The vision is for Backup as a Service (BaaS) and Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) that will provide Midland Heart with supported managed services, scalability, predicable costs and the flexibility to allow self-control where necessary for low-risk recovery, testing and DR invocation authorisation. Midland Heart requires an updated service that aligns with cloud-native principles, zero trust networking and evolving enterprise integration patterns. We wish to work with suppliers to understand the possibilities available to us to meet these requirements and achieve our business goals.

### Planning Information

Midland Heart will invite a number of suppliers to discuss our requirements in more detail and the options available to us. This discussion will take place initially with all interested parties via teams calls on 2nd June 2025 and 12th June 2025 to outline our requirements and hold initial introductions. Following the sessions we will invite suppliers to complete a questionnaire detailing their experience in the sector and implementing similar solutions. Midland Heart will then select a number of suppliers from those that complete the questionnaire to hold further in depth discussions and help refine our specification.
