The farm comprises approximately 240 ha of land and buildings which include a dairy unit comprising of a 20:20 rapid exit parlour, a robotic milking unit, cubicle housing and associated handling areas and infrastructure, a purpose-built calf rearing and beef finishing unit, forage clamps, waste handling facilities and a 22kWh micro anaerobic digester. The proposed contract includes management of the Farming Business specifically the management of the dairy, beef and sheep enterprises and associated forage and arable crop production, working in conjunction with the curriculum provision of agricultural education.
