## Summary

The public procurement process is being conducted by Procurement for Housing (PfH), a national procurement consortium headquartered in Birchwood, Warrington. The current stage of the process is planning, focusing on the establishment of a national Technical Consultancy Services Framework. This framework aims to cover various services, including Project Management, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Architectural Services, and others across the United Kingdom. Preliminary market engagement is scheduled with supplier sessions planned for February and March 2026, and the closing date for expressing interest is 27th February 2026. Interested parties can submit their interest via email to participate in these sessions. The framework, planned to start on 1st August 2026, will extend until 31st July 2030, with a total estimated procurement value of £120 million. Details about the lots will be defined in the future Tender Notice.

This upcoming framework presents significant business opportunities for organisations specialising in consultancy services across diverse sectors such as engineering, environmental services, IT consulting, and construction-related disciplines. The framework is particularly beneficial for SMEs given the structure of lots tailored to suit smaller enterprises. Being involved from the market engagement phase can provide insights and influence the final structuring of the lots, allowing businesses to tailor their offerings and enhance their chances of being awarded contracts. Companies seeking to expand their government procurement footprint, especially in consultancy related to the social housing sector, will find substantial prospects for growth.
