## Summary

The current procurement process being planned is led by Procurement for Housing (PfH), a sub-central government public authority. The procurement is in the planning phase as of 21st May 2026, with a focus on market engagement for an upcoming framework agreement titled "Assisted Living Solutions, Kitchens & Appliances Framework". This initiative falls under the goods category, specifically targeting domestic appliances, laundry machines, and assisted living solutions. The framework, intended to commence on 23rd January 2027 and conclude on 22nd January 2031, is set to be implemented across the United Kingdom. Interested parties are invited to engage in a preliminary market engagement exercise due by 23rd June 2026, which provides an opportunity to influence the development of the tender prior to its formal announcement on 1st July 2026.

This tender offers significant potential for business growth, particularly for manufacturers and suppliers involved with domestic appliances, kitchen fittings, and assisted living solutions. Businesses excelling in these areas, including small and medium enterprises, will find this framework favorable due to its planned division into lots, allowing for diverse participation. Companies can benefit from offering competitive pricing and innovative solutions that align with the framework's goals of efficiency and modernisation in the social housing sector. The chance to become part of a centralised procurement initiative backed by PfH can enhance visibility and open doors for long-term business partnerships within the substantial UK social housing market, managed collaboratively by over 90% of the sector.
