The service aims to improve health, wellbeing, and independence, and foster community engagement and empowerment. It encompasses various activities such as health promotion, social engagement, and support for independent living. The procurement process is currently at the award stage, with the contract awarded to Tapestry Care UK Limited. The procurement process followed an open procedure, with a focus on delivering social work and related services within the UKI52 region.

This initiative presents significant business growth opportunities, particularly for organisations experienced in delivering inclusive, person-centred services for individuals with disabilities. Service providers with expertise in community-based health promotion and wellness, as well as social care service delivery, would be well-suited to compete. The project encourages collaboration with specialist organisations to ensure comprehensive service delivery. Companies that can demonstrate robust systems for training, safeguarding, data protection, and quality assurance are particularly encouraged to engage.
