They provide support in Temporary Accommodation helping people to identify the best move-on options for them and support them to achieve them. * Providing advice to tenants around benefits and finances. o Gathering documents such as bank statements, payslips, identification, GP letters, benefit awards for the council and other organisations o Help with banking issues such as change of addresses, setting up payments, opening bank accounts, setting up online banking o Assist if individuals are in arrears with the council to reduce and clear the debt * Complete applications for social housing, and support if successful in securing accommodation with setting up bills, changing addresses, setting up payments, * Supporting individuals to understand and manage their tenancy. * Assist in applications for working and training, signing up to training courses
