## Summary

The procurement process for the framework agreement titled "344_26 Signs" was initiated by Leicestershire County Council, trading as ESPO, headquartered in Leicester, UK. This procurement covers the supply and installation of various types of signs, including safety signs, corporate signage, road name signs, and electronic signs. The contract is divided into eight lots, and procurement was conducted using an open procedure. Key dates include the framework's commencement on 17 April 2026, with the contract running until 16 April 2028, and potential extensions up to 2030. This framework agreement is consistently supported by legislation under the UKPGA 2023/54 and is covered by the GPA, ensuring comprehensive procurement compliance across the United Kingdom.

This framework presents significant opportunities for business growth, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) specialising in sign manufacturing and installation. Due to its wide scope, the procurement is well-suited for companies in the signage industry looking to expand their market reach across public sector entities, educational establishments, and healthcare bodies. The framework's methodology allows for both direct award and further competition, encouraging diverse participation while aligning suppliers with public sector needs. Furthermore, the ability to use the framework for call-offs with or without competition offers flexibility, potentially enhancing suppliers' market visibility and providing stable business prospects in the signage sector.
