## Summary

Brighton and Hove City Council has completed a procurement process for "BHCC Adult Social Care Learning Disability Services." The tenders were invited through a competitive flexible procedure under a selective procurement method, focusing on two Lots—Residential Care Homes and a Supported Living scheme. This procurement, categorised under "Health and social work services," addresses locations in Brighton and Hove (UKJ21), with contract execution expected from 3rd February 2026 to 2nd February 2031, and potential renewal for up to an additional five years. Proposals for the invitation to tender were due by 3rd September 2025, with awards announced on 30th October 2025 and contracts set to be signed by 17th November 2025.

This tender opens opportunities for businesses specialising in adult social care services, particularly those focusing on learning disability support. Companies with expertise in residential care or supported living solutions, whether large organizations or SMEs, should consider this contract for growth. Brighton and Hove City Council's leasing of existing buildings to providers means that businesses capable of property management and maintenance will be particularly suited to this long-term, substantial-value contract award. Additionally, despite being selective, the process included a light-touch regime, which may encourage wider participation from voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) seeking to expand their service offerings within this sector.
