## Summary

Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council is initiating a procurement process for the development of a pet crematorium at Bradwell Crematorium, Newcastle-under-Lyme, UK. This opportunity is currently at the planning stage, with the Expression of Interest to be returned by 23rd June 2025. The tender titled "Purchase of Pet Cremators" falls under the goods category, specifically targeting the cremators industry (CPV code 42350000). The procurement involves the provision, installation, and commissioning of a self-contained pet cremation solution, with the objective to be operational by 31st December 2025. Key contacts for this project include Andrew Arnott and Simon Sowerby, reachable via email for further engagement.

This tender presents an advantageous opportunity for businesses specialising in pet cremation solutions, particularly those that offer environmentally sustainable options, as the cremation units must run on HVO/Biodiesel. The project budget is £70,000 for capital costs and an additional £2,500 for a three-year service and maintenance programme, making it suitable for small to medium enterprises. Suppliers with experience in similar projects and capabilities to ensure compliance with health and safety and environmental regulations may find substantial potential in participating. The procurement route being planned is an Invitation to Quote (ITQ) process, which allows interested suppliers to present their solutions and grow their business within this niche market.
