## Summary

The procurement process for the "BBMF Integrated Support Programme (BISAP) - ENGINES," overseen by Defence Equipment and Support, is currently in the Tender stage. The buyer is a public authority located at MOD Abbey Wood in Bristol, United Kingdom. This procurement falls under the industry category of aircraft maintenance and repair services, with a focus on the Design, Production, and Maintenance of BBMF Engines. The main procurement method is an open, competitive flexible procedure. Interested companies have until 19th August 2026 to submit their tenders, with post-tender negotiations anticipated to conclude by 1st December 2026. This procurement aims to contract services beginning 1st April 2027, lasting potentially until 31st March 2040, depending on renewals and options exercised.

This tender presents opportunities for businesses specialising in aircraft engine maintenance, repair, and services related to propulsion systems. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate, benefiting from the open procurement method. Businesses with expertise in supplying comprehensive support services, including component and supply chain management, project management, and maintenance training, would find this tender particularly advantageous. The competitive bidding process allows businesses that demonstrate technical capability, robust management practices, and an efficient supply chain to potentially secure a long-term contract valued at up to £78 million. Interested businesses can engage in preliminary market engagement activities to better understand the tender requirements and align their proposals to meet the Authority's objectives.
