## Summary

NHS England North East and Yorkshire is conducting a procurement process for health and social work services, specifically targeting primary care and mental health services, including substance misuse, learning disabilities, and autism, for South Yorkshire's male prisons. This is a Request for Information (RFI) stage, intending to evaluate the market's capabilities and interest. Locations involved include HMP & YOI Doncaster, HMP & YOI Moorland, HMP Lindholme, and HMP & YOI Hatfield, all situated within the UKE3 region. The RFI was made available on 22nd May 2025, and completed submissions are due by 10:00 on 5th June 2025. The process is currently in the tender update stage, with a planned market engagement event scheduled for 15th July 2025 at Hatfield Prison.

This tender presents notable opportunities for businesses specialising in healthcare and social work services, particularly those with expertise in managing primary care and mental health concerns. Such businesses can leverage this opportunity to expand their presence in the prison healthcare sector, offering innovative solutions within a complex and demanding setting. Companies with experience in handling similar contracts or those capable of integrating comprehensive healthcare solutions could benefit significantly from this procurement process. Interested parties should ensure they register and prepare to express interest in future tender opportunities, as participation in this RFI will help align their offerings with NHS England's expectations and open doors for further engagement.
