## Summary

The public procurement process for the provision of Respiratory Solutions is being managed by Supply Chain Coordination Limited (SCCL), a sub-central government public authority based in London. With the process currently in the tender update stage, the aim is to establish a National Framework Agreement covering various lots such as Respiratory Therapy, Anaesthesia and Resuscitation, Diagnostics, and Nitrous Oxide Destruction Solutions. The framework agreement is structured to allow tender submissions for one or more lots and will be active beyond its initial term, with the potential to extend incrementally up to four additional years. The procurement method is an open procedure, and the final tender submission deadline has been extended to 11th November 2025, with the award period concluding on 22nd May 2026.

This procurement presents growth opportunities for businesses specialising in medical equipment and consumables, particularly those providing respiratory solutions such as therapy devices, anaesthesia equipment, and diagnostic tools. SMEs and organisations from voluntary, community, and social enterprise sectors are encouraged to participate. Key requirements include ISO, CE certifications, and adherence to modern slavery and sustainability assessments. Additionally, businesses with the capability to provide comprehensive maintenance, resupply services, and training related to these medical devices can leverage this opportunity to expand their presence within the NHS and other UK healthcare sectors.
