The private systems are made up of: * 10 pumping stations * 9 wastewater treatment works * 6 cesspits * Associated drainage pipe network from dwellings to equipment/outlets. These systems serve the properties on council estates, including properties that have since been purchased through Right to Buy. FHDC's objective is to gain a full understanding of the age and condition of these systems and create a programme of replacement and refurbishment over the next 10 -15 years to establish cost certainty and budget awareness required to undertake any necessary capital works.
