## Summary

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), based in London, is currently in the planning stage for a research project titled "Community Health Services Commissioning Research." This initiative falls under the services industry category with a focus on community health, health services, and miscellaneous health services. The project aims to gather insights into commissioning practices and support best patient outcomes by inviting stakeholders to participate in a survey. While the survey itself is not linked to a procurement, its findings may influence future practices in community health. Interested parties should note that the survey closes on 27 June 2025, with opportunities for interviews scheduled thereafter to discuss experiences further. The research aligns with government priorities to transform health services by enhancing accessibility and early detection while maintaining sustainability in integrated care. The planned contract period, indicative of future research activities, spans from 30 June to 1 July 2025.

This research initiative presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in community and health services to contribute to shaping future commissioning practices. Companies involved in contracting, local authorities, or integrated care boards (ICBs) may find value in participating, as the project seeks insights into innovative approaches that align with patient needs. Networking and engaging in the interviews could help businesses better position themselves in the evolving landscape of health and social care services. Those adept in providing solutions that enhance neighbourhood health services or innovations aimed at improving patient experiences and outcomes would be well-suited to engage with this project, potentially growing their impact in community health transformations and gaining visibility within government health initiatives.
