## Summary

Orbit Group Limited, a sub-central government public authority based in Coventry, is in the planning stage of a public procurement process for the emergency call-out and repair of commercial and domestic appliances. The tender, titled "Emergency call out and repair of Commercial and Domestic Appliances," falls under the services industry category, specifically focusing on repair and maintenance services. The contract is intended to cover locations within the Midlands and South of England, with potential implications for the East of England. The current procurement process involves a preliminary market engagement, scheduled to conclude by 11th June 2025. Interested suppliers need to engage via the specified e-tendering site, as Orbit seeks to gauge supplier interest and capability. This process is proactive in determining the most suitable procurement route, with the contract period projected to commence on 1st August 2025 and end by 28th February 2027.

This procurement offers significant opportunities for businesses specialising in repair and maintenance services, particularly those with coverage capabilities within the specified regions. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to express interest, as the contract is planned for a single supplier with ad-hoc service call-offs. Given the potential contract value of £100,000 excluding VAT, without fixed volume commitments, businesses can benefit from flexibility and strategic resource allocation. The contract involves services for both domestic and commercial appliance repairs, making it suitable for businesses with expertise in servicing diverse appliance models. Moreover, the opportunity to partake in ongoing contract management and reporting can pave the way for long-term business growth and relationship building with Orbit Group Limited.
