## Summary

The procurement process for Contract B947 (2027), initiated by Northern Ireland Electricity Networks Limited, focuses on excavation, cable laying, and reinstatement works across various districts. The project is divided into six Lots encompassing geographical and project-based work, with an estimated contract value of around £331.5 million over an eight-year period, and is governed under Northern Irish devolved regulations. This active tender stage began on 14 May 2026, with the deadline for expression of interest set for 15 June 2026. The procurement method used is a competitive flexible procedure, and the award period concludes on 1 February 2027.
