## Summary

The British Film Institute (BFI), operating as a public authority under sub-central government, recently completed the procurement process for providing taxi services at the BFI London Film Festival and BFI Flare. This open competition, conducted under the legal framework of the UK Public General Acts, culminated in an award on 1st October 2025. The contract was awarded to Addison Lee Ltd to manage transport logistics between key festival venues and travel points from 8th October 2025 to 31st October 2027, with a potential extension through to 30th October 2028. Located in London, these events attract substantial attendance, enhancing logistical requirements for guest and staff movements.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in transportation services, especially those adept in managing large-scale events involving high-frequency transport schedules. Addison Lee, a large-scale organisation, secured the contract, highlighting the demand for robust operational capabilities and established service quality during festivals. Smaller businesses may explore partnerships or sub-contracts to participate in similar opportunities, potentially enhancing their market presence and gaining valuable experience in the competitive field of service provisioning for prominent cultural events. With the UK's film industry continuing to thrive, participating in tenders like this can propel business growth and visibility in the vibrant cultural sector.
