## Summary

The Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust is spearheading a procurement process to secure Health and Social Prescribing Coordinators (HSPC) for North West London, particularly within the areas of Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster, which were formerly part of the West London CCG footprint. This process is part of the Health Care Services Provider Selection Regime (PSR) and outlines an open tender procedure with a focus on health services. The contract, valued at approximately £4.2 million including VAT, will commence on 1st March 2026 and span three years. The recent stage in this procurement journey is an award decision, with Age UK Kensington and Chelsea identified as the intended awardee following a thorough competitive process, as detailed in an update published on 12th May 2026.

The contract presents significant opportunities for organisations experienced in care coordination and health services. The selected provider will be instrumental in delivering integrated care aimed at early risk identification, holistic support, and facilitating patient recovery through coordinated health and social care interventions. Businesses that possess expertise in community health, patient coordination, and the management of healthcare services at a community level—particularly those that can demonstrate innovation in care delivery and value in service provision—will find this contract particularly beneficial for growth and diversification. The emphasis on collaboration and social value further underscores the opportunities for qualified providers to make meaningful societal impacts.
