## Summary

The Energy Saving Trust is in the tender stage of its procurement process for the Home Energy Scotland Advice Centre Services across five regions in Scotland, commencing on 1st April 2026. This procurement, which follows an open procedure, is intended to operate and manage advice centres providing tailored advice on energy efficiency and affordable warmth. Key industry classifications include call centre and energy-efficiency consultancy services. The procurement covers the regions of Highlands and Islands, North East, South East, South West, and Strathclyde and Central Scotland, with an end date of March 2028. Interested suppliers should submit their electronic bids by 12th September 2025 through the Public Contracts Scotland website, taking care to meet the deadline to avoid last-minute challenges.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in energy management, consultancy, or call centre operations to grow their business through long-term public sector contracts. With a total estimated value of GBP 12 million over two years, the contract also offers potential extensions of up to two additional years, providing stable revenue over the engagement period. Companies with expertise in advising on energy efficiency measures, renewable energy installations, and programs assisting low-income households would be ideal candidates. Additionally, suppliers are required to have established facilities within the specified regions, making businesses with a local presence particularly well-suited to compete for these contracts.
